Role: Field Sales Account Manager
Location: Covering Birmingham & South
Salary: 40-45k Plus Commission, Car allowance, Yearly bonus (OTE 60-80k)
Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.30, Hybrid
Type: Permanent
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our growing client. In a newly created role, the Sales Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and driving sales growth.
80% of your time will be focused on new business growth and 20% growing existing client accounts. This is a key role that requires excellent communication skills, sales expertise, and strong leadership abilities. What you will be doing:
- To maximize the lifetime retention and profitability of a portfolio of accounts,
- To win new business with customers, larger SMEs/Cooperates spending over 100k per annum,
- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned client accounts,
- To increase Sales, GP and Net profitability within each account in line with the company growth aspirations,
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to increase revenue,
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance and address concerns,
- Utilise Salesforce system to track client interactions and manage sales pipeline,
- Providing a high level of after sales support, to secure existing contractual business.
What we are looking for:
- Able to demonstrate proven experience in winning and selling to large/ corporate/ commercial customers
- Someone who is target driven, hungry and motivated
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar sales role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software is preferred
- Takes ownership and accountability for results
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, plan time effectively for maximum impact
- Full driving licence - the role covers from the Midlands to South England
